Jack Campbell – General Manager / Sales Manager
Jack grew up in the farming industry with his family in Pixley, CA. Jack went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. He became a box salesman for Delano Farms’ parent company Anderson & Middleton selling grape and produce boxes throughout the San Joaquin Valley until he started working for Delano Farms shortly after it was founded. Jack is responsible for the day-to-day overseeing of the company and managing the sales team.
Jack is the father of three boys, Jack Jr., Grant and Joseph. He likes spending time with his sons and grandchildren on the weekends and watching his youngest boy, Joseph, who is the quarterback for his High School football team.
Ryan Perkins – Sales
Ryan has been in the Produce industry his entire life. As a child, he was exposed to the industry through his father, Leroy. Ryan started driving forklifts in a cold storage in his high school years and spent his spare time in the sales office learning the trade. Ryan started with Delano Farms in 1995 and has been with us ever since. His sales knowledge and experience is always a great anchor for the sales team.
During his off time, Ryan likes to travel and be involved in his son Blaine’s rapidly growing stock car racing career.
Eric D’Amato – Controller
Eric attended Cal Poly University San Luis Obispo like many of his current co-workers. After college, he worked as a Software Consultant for numerous years with large companies and government contracts. In 2006, Eric joined the sales team at Delano Farms where he quickly made a transition over from sales into being the Delano Farms Controller, where he stands today.
In his spare time, Eric enjoys honing his golf game and traveling for his three kids’ sporting events.
Scott Clubine – Strategy / Sales
Scott is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a degree in business finance. He graduated in 2002 and moved to Bentonville, Arkansas, as a produce buyer for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Scott joined Delano Farms in 2007 in the sales department. Scott now focuses on variety development as well as sales.
Scott likes to travel and spend time with his wife, Katrin, and his three children, Hannah, Evan, and Nora.
Rick “Richard” Cottrell – Sales
Richard was the first salesman at Delano Farms. He came to Delano Farms in 1993 and hasn’t looked back since. Prior to coming to Delano Farms Rick worked for several different produce companies in a sales position, so he brought years of experience to the table from the start. Richard attended Fresno Pacific University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Rick spends his personal time volunteering with multiple non-profit organizations and visiting his three kids, Ashley, Tyler and Allie, who have their own successful careers and families.
Scott Jones – Sales and Export Lead
Scott holds a BS Degree in Agri Business from Fresno State University. He started working with Delano Farms through his own produce sales company in 1993 and started employment with Delano Farms in 2008. With over 30 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge and know-how to the DFC team. He heads up the export sales for Delano Farms and also works domestic sales as well.
Scott is an avid outdoorsman. When he isn’t spending time with his Labrador dogs, he is introducing veterans and disabled children to a range of outdoor activities that they would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience.
Edgar Contreras – Sales Associate
Edgar joined Delano Farms Company after graduating from UCLA in 2016. Edgar is responsible for assisting with export sales as well as overlooking all export packaging in the fields. Edgar provides packaging information to customers, along with pricing and availability as well as visiting the vineyards during harvest season to be the liaison between the office team and the field crews.
Edgar was a student-athlete (Soccer) at Arvin High School, Taft College and went on to play at UCLA. Edgar loves his family and his job. He enjoys going out of town with his wife and friends and attending sporting events.
Robert “Bobby” Munoz – Sales Associate
Bobby started in 2017 with Delano Farms and assists the sales team on day-to-day operations. He helps the sales team by assisting customers and their needs. He helps maintain relationships with customers by providing product information and support where needed. Bobby has been in the produce industry for four years, and prior to Delano Farms, he worked for another grape grower in the industry.
Bobby attended Bakersfield High School and spent some time at Bakersfield College before joining the produce industry. He has earned a certificate in Ammonia Refrigeration from the Garden City Ammonia Program.
Bobby loves his wife and their two daughters. He enjoys the outdoors, family backyard barbecues, family vacations to the beach, and watching his two little girls grow.
Robby Allred – Sales Associate / Food Safety Coordination
Robby has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering and worked as a computer field technician for a large drug store chain prior to coming to Delano Farms in 2005. He oversees day-to-day tasks and coordinates logistics and coverage for one of Delano Farms major customer accounts. When he’s not working on that, he is coordinating the food safety program for Delano Farms. He is HACCP and PCQI certified.
Robby enjoys the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, anything Star Wars and spending time with his family.
Claudia Morales – Packhouse Manager
Claudia started in agriculture at a young age alongside her mother who was a foreman for harvest crews. She stayed in the agriculture sector as an assistant foreman and moving into a supervisorial position with a labor contractor in the Delano Farms packhouse for four years. In 2012, Claudia was employed directly by Delano Farms and took over as packhouse manager. She oversees several hundred packers on a daily basis during the grape season.
Claudia spends her free time with family and friends, working out and listening to music.
Alvaro Avila – Human Resources Manager
Alvaro started with our company in early 2012 as an HR and Safety Assistant. He then took the role of Safety Coordinator and saw a reduction in injuries down to single-digit numbers and a large savings in worker’s compensation costs in the first year as lead Safety Coordinator. He has since worked his way up to Human Resources and Safety Manager and has maintained an experience modifier under 100.
As Human Resources and Safety Manager, Alvaro performs every function of HR and is responsible for compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, selection and recruitment.
Alvaro holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Cal-State University Bakersfield and completed the CSUB Human Resources Certificate program. He is currently working towards his Master’s Degree in Business Administration at his alma mater.
Alvaro enjoys spending his free time outdoors with his wife Lesley, friends, family and his son Lorenzo.
Steve Acosta – Quality Assurance Supervisor
Steve has been in the produce business his entire life. He started by helping with his family’s grape vineyards in Coachella CA and Delano CA. He has since worked for multiple companies as a produce inspector both in-house and out in the field doing inspections for buyers. Steve came to Delano Farms in 1999 as the only quality assurance person and is now the QC Supervisor over a multitude of storage and field QC advisor’s.
In his off time, Steve enjoys tending to his small hobby farm he has on his homestead.
Susana Pena – Office Staff Manager
Susana joined Delano Farms in June 1998 with a wealth of knowledge of farming and harvesting practices in the field, and she shortly moved into an office position. Susana manages the Delano Farms sales office of about 20 employees, including administration and the sales team. She also assists with sales, accounting, inventory and helping assist buyers with their purchases.
Susana enjoys spending time with her family and new grandson.
